Founded in 2010, Tranquil Cloud Temple is a non-profit tax-exempt organization, registered in the State of Illinois and operating under IRC Title 26 U.S.C. 501 (c), Section 501 (c) (3) status.

Here at Tranquil Cloud Temple, it is our goal to teach others a way of living that enhances the body, mind, and spirit in order to achieve balance within one’s own life. Through the careful and close instruction of Taoist qigong, medical qigong, mediations, and Shobayashi Shorin-Ryu Okinawan Karate training from experienced and well-trained instructors, and individual is guided along a path of emotional, physical, and spiritual development. These trainings are consistent with Taoism’s recognition of the mind/body link. Trainings with Taoist Priest, Dr. Tony D’Angelo, DMQ, various qigong and martial arts practitioners, are only some of the benefits of Tranquil Cloud Temple.

Based on the vision of Taoist Priest, Dr. Tony D’Angelo, DMQ, our non-profit organization is dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of the local and national community through the dissemination of traditional Chinese Taoist philosophies and mind-body health practices. Through the attendance of various seminars and programs, an individual can acquire knowledge designed to enlighten the mind for healthy living through deeper understanding of the energetic effect of diet and lifestyle on the human body. For those individuals who walk the path of enlightenment, changes in perception transform the very lives those individuals decide to live. The first question one must ask is what path they wish to walk.

We offer free and low-cost classes in Qigong, weekly guided meditations, seminars about traditional Taoist philosophies, and integrative therapeutic services including medical qigong treatments and Tui Na Chinese massage. We offer online group Taoist meetings. The content of the meetings is open and self-directed discussion of scripture study. No prior experience necessary. All are welcome.

We offer bi-monthly donation based medical qigong services through our student clinics to members of the community.
